Book and DVD Reviews
Acupressure Point Charts for Horses
by Diana Thompson

Many of you many know author Diana Thompson from courses she has presented internationally and,
through her own company, Hands on Horse Care. Diana has been spotlighted in th
Equinology newsletter previously and she is a favorite teacher of Equinology.

The time and attention to detail shines throughout this new release. Diana's voice comes through the 230 pages presented in a flip chart format.
Included are 127 equine acupoints and 14 energy flows. The acupoint locations and energy channel pathways are presented on 330 high quality black and white horse photographs. These are further hightlighted on 100 illustrations of the muscles and corresponding bony landmarks. Step by step charts are included along with acupressure application techniques as well as theory.

You can be assured that this information presented is correct and accepted by other professionals specializing in acupressure. We have reviewed many acupressure books previously and this work is not stands out as one of the best, but is also unique in it's presentation.

This will be one of the books students are required to have for Equinology's acupressure courses.

Read what Kerry Ridgeway, DVM, A leading Veterinary Acupuncturist and Instructor wrote:
"This book is a much needed resource for horse owners, equine body workers and veterinarians. It is
extremely well researched and edited and the photos and illustrations are superb. The descriptive text is precise and written in language that is understandable to both layman and professional."
